Psychological Testing

Psychological Testing to Ensure Accurate Diagnoses

Quality assessment integrates all aspects of test performance. It links results with the presenting concerns to determine the proper diagnosis. Our clinicians then design specific and practical recommendations.

All of our assessment batteries are individualized based on the presenting concerns and diagnostic questions. When assessing school-aged clients, we collaborate with schools. Our clinicians participate in classroom observations and collect input for rating scales.

Once psychological testing is complete, we produce a comprehensive report. The report interprets the results and offers diagnostic conclusions. It also provides resources and specific recommendations to improve functioning within the home, school, and/or workplace.

Psychological testing is typically completed to determine the following:

  • General ability/intelligence
  • Academic strengths/needs
  • Mood disorders
  • Attention disorders
  • Behavior disorders
  • Developmental disorders
  • Differential diagnosis
  • Learning disorders
  • Psychiatric conditions

We also provide comprehensive follow-up care. That includes school advocacy and attendance at school meetings. We also evaluate the effectiveness of educational and therapeutic interventions.
